The Irish Setter Club of Canada does not offer recommendations regarding breeders but will notify interested parties of who has or is expecting puppies from amongst the club members. Therefore a breeders list will not be furnished of all breeders. If you are looking for a puppy please contact the breeders below who have identified that they have or may have a litter of puppies or send a query to the webmaster . advice on how to find the right puppy from a
competent breeder and what to look for as you
arrange for its purchase. We do not recommend the
purchase of an Irish Setter on a whim nor as a
present. As a result of recent experience we
strongly recommend that no puppy or adult dog be
purchased without a clear and acceptable contract.
The contract should clearly state under what
circumstances a deposit will not be refunded. We
further recommend that no deposit be offered
without the contract having been signed by the
