Riley
|
Two years ago this month, we arranged to take a 9 year old rescue named Riley who was being given up by his owners.Riley was a delight from the moment he stepped out of the shipping crate and into our hearts. Unfortunately, Riley developed diabetes and in February, on the advice ofour veterinarian, we had to have him humanely put down. Our hearts arebroken. He was with us just two years and we had so hoped we'd have him with us for much longer. I'm just writing to let you know that participating in the rescue was such a positive experience for us. Riley was a lovely boy, well-mannered, gentle, and a great companion for our other rescued red-head Emma, who came to us when she was 6 years old. We all miss him very very much. Thank you for giving us the chance to give Riley his "forever" home. Becky and Ken Sundberg

Clancy
|
Just wanted to let you know that we had to say goodbye
to our
beloved Clancy on Tuesday, Even now as I tell you my heart is
aching
and my tears are flowing. James and the girls are also devastated
at
having to say goodbye.
He was humanely euthanized by Dr. Colin Peace and
spent his last
few days being pampered even more so than usual. His last 15
minutes
were spent in a field gazing at horses, enjoying the cool breeze and
feeling the love of his family.
Adopting Clancy was the best thing the Gregory family
ever did.
He brought such joy to our family. He will be sorely missed and
never
forgotten. Thank you so much for giving us the privilege of
sharing
our lives with our amazing boy.
We are happy that the ISCC allowed us to
have him too.
Thanks again for everything. James says we will
be in touch
before long to see about getting acompanion for Sam. First
we need to
hold on to our memories of Clancy and let the pain of losing him heal.
Best regards,
Cheryl and James Gregory and family
